I can’t believe that it is almost July! This Summer is just flying by! I am in the big ole state of Kentucky this weekend. My husband’s cousin is getting tomorrow, and Jordan is the flower girl. I can’t wait to snap some photos of her all dressed up in her dress! It is so pretty!
The drive up yesterday was pretty long, and by the time we visited with family and ate, it was almost 10:00 when we finally got settled in our hotel room. We had several storms come though last night which kept waking me up. I figure I go about 3 hours of sleep, so today is going to be a looooonnnng day - lol!

I thought I’d shared some photos of some of the jewelery I’ve been making. I have quite a bit listed at Etsy, and I just added some craft books that I found in my craft room while I was doing some cleaning. There are books on various topics like quilting, card making, and cross stitch. You might want to take a look if you’re into any of those hobbies.

That’s what it is around here! We’ve already broken several records in the last few days by hitting 100 degrees! That’s about 15 degrees above where we should be. I am not ready for this kind of heat this early! I hope this is not a sign of how the rest of the Summer is going to be. Last year we were breaking all sorts of all-time records by hitting 107 and up!
I guess we picked a good weekend to head to the beach! Jordan’s last day of school was last Wednesday, and we took off for the beach first thing Thursday morning. We took one of her friends with us, which was a first for us. They got along so well, and had such a great time together! It was really great for her to have someone to play with. The last night we were there, they were getting a little feisty though, so we knew they’d spent enough time together - lol!
I finished up a new kit called Hot Fun before we left for the beach, and it could not have been more perfect for some of the photos I took while we were there!
Here’s a 2 pager that I did with some of the photos. Isn’t Jordan’s friend Madison just the prettiest thing? I swear, this child is so photogenic - I don’t think I have one bad photo of her!
